SOEUR E SOPHIA ROE

An emblematic figure of the Danish creative scene, Sophia Roe collaborates for the first time with Soeur on a unique capsule collection.

The blending of Parisian elegance with Scandinavian minimalism shapes a wardrobe of clean lines and sharp cuts.

THE COLLABORATION

The coming together of Sophia Roe and Soeur underlines their shared affinities for timeless looks, a subtle colour sense and a precision of line.

In a nocturnal palette of black, ivory and putty with purple details, the collection comprises 17 pieces, each bearing the name of one of her
close friends.

An airy caftan dress slides over the skin and opens into a plunging bare back. Hip-hugging masculine tailored trousers in flexible cotton twill contrast with the transparency of a cape-draped
top.

The outfits are anchored by seven essential accessories, including an extra-large pouch in embossed leather, second-skin pumps with a translucent Plexiglas heel and statement jewellery.

« I don’t have a sister. In fact, I have 3 brothers. I always wanted one though. Someone to share early womanhood, and perhaps closet with. Instead, I share this with my friends, the women in my life. I have always been obsessed with women characters, as I possess many, different characteristics, as you must do as a woman of modern age. Both my Scandinavian heritage, but also my childhood growing up with brothers gave me confidence in my masculine instincts. It’s the balance between the soft and the secure I am drawn to. We worked on this collection with exactly that I mind. Sharpness with softness, ever attracting opposites equals a woman, and her womanhood of today, I think. »
